Employee Assistance Programme

VANL have received a number of enquiries from organisations looking for wellbeing support for staff and volunteers.  We ourselves had been looking for this kind of support and through a recommendation from Healthy Working Lives we signed up for an ‘Employee Assistance Programme’ from an organisation called Health Assured.  We have spoken to them about the possibility of offering a discounted rate for our sector in North Lanarkshire and they have agreed to consider this.   

What is an Employee Assistance Programme – EAP

An EAP is a confidential benefit designed to help you deal with personal and professional problems that could be affecting your home and work life, health and general well-being.

This service is available 24/7, 365 days a year.

VANL are delighted with the EAP service we receive from Health Assured and an additional benefit is that immediate families of staff, volunteers and trustees’ can also access the service.

We have agreed to initially register all interest and to advise Health Assured of the number of organisations/people who would benefit from this programme. They will then consider what they can offer.  We will then advise you of any offer and next steps.
