Asda Foundation – Local Impact Funding

The Local Impact fund supports smaller local initiatives to help you support your community. Awards vary in size. The fund supports four key areas:

  1. Community
  2. Elderly
  3. Sporting Activities
  4. Christmas

Scotmid – Community Grant

Next Application Deadline: No published deadlines

Scotmid’s Community Grant scheme helps deserving causes across Scotland. In the last four years, they have supported hundreds of projects which have touched the lives of people living in the communities they serve. The maximum amount available for a Community Grant is £500.

Scottish Childrens Lottery - Chance to Connect

Next Application Deadline: No published deadlines

Chance to Connect seek to support projects and activities in Scotland, with the aspiration of alleviating the impact of poverty or financial hardship, social exclusion, relative/multiple deprivation and disability or illness affecting young people in Scotland, aged 0-25 years, with the aim of giving all young people in Scotland the opportunity of a productive future where they can become young adults with a positive contribution to make to society. Projects must be undertaken by organisations registered with OSCR. Chance to Connect prefer to fund up to 50% of a total project or activities cost. Any more than this is at the discretion of the trustees. Grants of up to £50 000 can be accessed.

Volant Charitable Trust – Open Grants

Next Application Deadline: 30th April 2019

Projects must demonstrate a strong focus on supporting women and children affected by hardship or disadvantage and on tackling the issues they face in order to make a lasting difference to their lives and life chances. The Open Grant programme will consider one off projects or multiyear applications. The maximum amount that you can apply for is £15 000 per year.

North Lanarkshire Council – Community Grants

Next Application Deadline: 4th June 2019 (10am)

NLC’s small grant scheme for voluntary organisations or community groups operating in North Lanarkshire can be used for various purposes including equipment, accommodation, catering, running costs, transport, publicity, tutors and building repairs. The maximum you can apply for is £1000. You can apply for up to 3 times in any one financial year for different activities (or for the same activity if 6 months has passed since the last application) but the total funded to anyone organisation in any one year must not exceed £1000.
