We have had a number of enquiries in recent months regarding the rising cost of energy for voluntary sector organisations, listed below are some sources of help and advice that are available. 

Contact Your Supplier 

In the first instance, it may be worthwhile contacting your energy supplier who may be able to work with your organisation to arrange a more affordable payment plan. 

Business Energy Scotland 

Business Energy Scotland can provide energy efficiency assessments, advice on how to save energy as well as loan funding and a cashback grant of up to 75% of costs on improvements that have to be made to reduce consumption.

Local Energy Scotland 

Local Energy Scotland provide CARES funding for community buildings. Grants of up to 80% of project costs towards the cost of implementing carbon saving technologies such as heat pumps and solar panels are available. Contact them to find out more.
