North Lanarkshire Council – Working for Families Programme

North Lanarkshire Council’s Working for Families Programme is seeking support from partners in the third sector to create work placements within their organisation for Working for Families registered clients.

Working for Families has a caseload of clients who would benefit from six months work experience to support them on their work journey.

North Lanarkshire Council will support each organisation with full employee and oncosts.  Each placement needs to be at least 8 hours per week, with a maximum of 35 hours per week, the rate of pay is the Real Living Wage (£12 per hour).  Duration is six months, or up to 31st March 2025 (whichever is sooner).  A wraparound service will be provided by Routes to Work for both the client and the employer, this can include upskilling of the client.

To be eligible, the client must be currently registered with Working for Families (WFF) at Routes to Work or part of our WFF Third Sector Grants Programme.   The employer must be third sector and based in North Lanarkshire.
