Volunteer with Summerlee Museum of Scottish Industrial Life!

Summerlee Museum of Scottish Industrial Life

This is a brilliant opportunity to be part of a friendly team to help with the upkeep/maintenance of the Summerlee Museum of Scottish Industrial Life.

The museum team are looking for people willing to put their skills to good use or just to be happy to help out in any way that you can.

There are outdoor painting projects to help maintain areas around the venue & also conservation projects along with many others.  ‘Robin’, a railway engine, is currently undergoing conservation work and is being transformed back to how it was in1957 when it worked at R.B Tennants, at Whifflet Foundry.

There are many ad-hoc activities to suit what suits you.

Through volunteering, your time will help ensure that the facilities are conserved for future visitors to enjoy.
