VANL GDPR Privacy Notice

Data protection law is changing to better protect you and your information. The General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) is the new legal framework that will come into effect on May 25, 2018 in the European Union.  GDPR gives every business a new set of obligations and every consumer strengthened rights regarding their data.

We at Voluntary Action North Lanarkshire think this is really important so here are some of the measures we're taking:

  • We’ve updated our privacy policies to explain how we manage your data and why we require it.
  • We’ve given you information about how long we retain your data and when it will be deleted.
  • We're briefing our staff, they will be provided with up to date details of data protection law as well as clear instructions on how to deal with, process and use the data you have provided.
  • Lastly, your rights over your information, this will make it easier to access any information we hold on you.

If you’ve previously agreed to receive our emails we hope you'll continue to do so. However, if at any point you decide our information is no longer relevant you can opt out by contacting our Data Protection Officers by phone on 01236 748011 or by email info@vanl.co.uk.
