VANL provides free information and guidance to CVS organisations on a range of key organisational issues and also some professional services at very low cost.

- In addition to the above services, VANL provides some training to the CVS on other issues such as child protection and we announce this training when available. However, as VANL is not a training organisation, we refer CVS organisations to other sources of reliable training. The following organisations provide useful training for our sector on a range of relevant issues.New College Lanarkshire which provide a wide range of courses, some of which are free to our sector.
- Open University which provide a wide range of free courses through “Open Learn”
- Skills Network – which provide a wide range of free courses in Scotland
VANL will also share information about other training opportunities as they arise on this page and/or through other communication routes.
VANL also works with the CVS and our statutory partners to support community action to improve community wealth and welllbeing by:

hosting and managing Health and Social Care North Lanarkshire’s Community Solutions programme - website currently in development.
